Why does this recipe have sugar and Splenda? I have no idea.
12 fresh mint leaves
2 tsp. sugar
1 envelope Splenda
1/2 lime (2 tbsp.)
1 oz. (2 tbsp.) light rum
Chilled club soda or seltzer water
- Put uncut lime in microwave and nuke on high for 20 seconds, to maximize juice.
- In a tall glass, place mint leaves with sugar, Splenda, and lime juice. Use a chopstick to mash leaves into sugar and juice until sugar is dissolved.
- Stir in rum, add ice cubes, and top off drink with club soda or seltzer water. Stir drink well.
