I have made this for myself as an evening sweet treat for weeks now!
It started out as a “microwave cobbler in a mug,” but when I broke the handle off my microwave and could no longer open it, I transitioned over to my oven.
I removed as much sugar as I could, so this treat is only 315 calories!

Not gonna lie: Shakeology tastes kind of nasty at first sip.
But then again, most shake-like supplements taste that way to me.
But you find ways to doctor the mix to make it tastier. Continue reading “Shakeology review and recipe”
In all the time I’ve used 21 Day Fix Extreme, I’ve never used the little food containers. But I did want to follow the plan.
So I measured the exact amount of each food container using regular measuring cups. This makes it easier to track foods on MyFitnessPal, too!

This came about from an original 21 Day Fix-approved recipe for Eggroll in a Bowl.
I accidentally bought broccoli slaw instead of coleslaw mix the first time I made it, and I ended up liking it so much, I decided to use broccoli slaw from then on!
It’s my go-to warm bowl of protein and veggies. I make a batch for the week and then I’m good to go.

I love steel cut oatmeal anyway, so this wasn’t much of a challenge…

It’s really easy to make a batch on Sunday that you can use through the week!

Healthy microwave popcorn is the best thing I can eat when I’m craving crunchy and salty. It’s got fiber, good fats from olive oil, and low-sodium salty goodness from Flavor God Everything Seasoning.
I use my Nordic Ware Microwave Popcorn Popper and good ol’ Orville Redenbacher to make a bowl that’s fast, easy, and chemical free.
Don’t ever buy those microwave popcorn bags again!

I’m pretty strict about what I eat most of the time. To make it convenient, though, I tend to eat the same meals, and day of meals, over and over again. I eat for fuel, not for pleasure. (Man, that sounds so sad, doesn’t it? I do allow myself one cheat meal a week. Then I eat for pure gluttonous pleasure.)
Anyway, I notice that one certain day’s worth of meals makes me feel particularly good, keeps me within my macros, gets me all 21 Day Fix colored boxes in the right proportions, and results in a good weigh-in the next day.
I call it My perfect day of eating and it goes like this.
