Overnight oats recipe and the perfect jars

There are tons of recipes out there for overnight oats. But I haven’t seen any that also include a recommendation for the exact jars to use.

So I decided to write my own. Here’s my recipe and the exact jars I use from Amazon!

Overnight oats recipe

I usually quadruple the recipe since the jars I bought came 4 to a set.

This recipe is my variation of Easy Overnight Oats by Feel Good Foodie.

Ingredients

½ cup old fashioned rolled oats
1 tablespoon chia seeds
¼ tsp cinnamon
pinch salt
½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
¼ 5.3 oz container Chobani Less Sugar Greek yogurt
2 tsp maple syrup
¼ tsp vanilla extract

Steps
  1. Ǝn a medium mixing bowl, mix well dry ingredients (oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, salt).
  2. Pour in milk, yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Pour into a 10 oz glass jar. Screw lid on tightly.
  4. Refrigerate overnight.
  5. Quadruple the recipe and meal prep 4 jars at a time!

Notes
  • Cinnamon is what makes this recipe soooo yummy!
  • I prefer the fruit flavors of Chobani Less Sugar Greek Yogurt.
  • This is a basic recipe that can be topped with all sorts of things—chocolate chips, chopped fruit or nuts, shredded coconut, etc.

Overnight oats jars from Amazon

This 4-pack of 10oz glass jars with screw lids from Amazon are perfect for this recipe.

If you quadruple the recipe above, they perfectly fill a 4-pack of these jars.

The indented lids make these jars super stackable, too.
